The online game *Cangtian Online* hosted its first "Thunderous Tournament," offering a prize pool of 100,000 to attract players. The event officially kicked off at 12:00 PM on November 28, 2008, and was open to both veteran and new players.
Veteran players level 35 and above could participate in the "Arena Qualifying Rounds" from November 28th to January 4th of the following year. During the event period, players could register through the "Thunderous Tournament" registration page on the official website and then directly enter the game's "2v2 or 3v3 Arena" to participate in the qualifying rounds. Winning or losing would earn points.
The first stage will select the top 64 players based on their points ranking. These players will advance to the "Arena Points Qualifying Tournament" and participate in the "Plunder Battlefield Top 4 Points Tournament" from 00:00 on January 12, 2009 to 12:00 on February 2, 2009. The final four teams will compete for the championship at the "2009 TGS Grand Finals," receiving a prize of NT$100,000, or limited-edition commemorative weapons and MSI graphics cards, among other gifts. Teams reaching the finals will also have the opportunity to be unconditionally promoted to the rank of "Captain" or "Colonel." The real-time "Bombardment Tournament Leaderboard" will allow participating players to stay informed about all aspects and developments of the competition.
For new players, once you join "Cangtian Online" and reach level 15, you can enter the "Arena" for competition. You will receive rewards regardless of whether you win or lose. Furthermore, during the event period, both new and experienced players will receive 10 "Material Gem Boxes" for every 50 matches they participate in the "2 VS 2 or 3 VS 3 Arena". Teams that qualify for the finals will also receive 1 "Rare Treasure Box" for each member.
