Aeria Games officially launched the official website for its new online first-person shooter, *Parabellum*, this evening.
Developed by ACONY, a German company whose members previously created game modules for *Counter-Strike: Revenge of the Siege* (CS), *Parabellum* boasts strong FPS development capabilities. ACONY is using Unreal Engine 3 to develop *Parabellum*, which has garnered significant market attention.
The game is set in a near-future world in 2018, where players, as mercenaries, will face endless battles. It is understood that the game is currently designed to use a maximum of 6v6 team battles, but specific computer requirements and other details have not yet been released.
Aeria Games stated that the newly launched website showcases concept art and gameplay footage from the game's development phase. A gameplay video will be released soon to provide players with further information about the game.
*Parabellum* is scheduled to begin closed beta testing in Japan in mid-to-late December and will be released next spring. It is planned to be a free-to-play title.
