The Chinese version of "Hero Is Too Arrogant OR2" will be released next January. Defeat the hero and protect the demon world's ecology.

Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan (SCET) announced today (30th) that it will release a Traditional Chinese version of the PSP dungeon crawler game *Hero Is Too Arrogant OR2* (勇者のくせになまいきだor2) in Taiwan next January.
*Hero Is Too Arrogant OR2* is a unique dungeon crawler game told from the perspective of monsters. It subverts the established image of the hero in typical RPGs, portraying the hero as a villain who recklessly invades the demon world based solely on his own will. Therefore, players must become a destroyer, protecting the environment disrupted by the hero's invasion and safeguarding the demon world's ecosystem.
The gameplay is quite simple. Players, as the Destroyer, only need to consume "Digging Power" to excavate soil, create dungeons, and spawn monsters. These monsters are then nurtured into powerful creatures through a food chain to continuously defeat the invading heroes. The ultimate goal of the game is to conquer the world; the game ends when the hero successfully enters the dungeon and kidnaps the Demon King.
The monsters in the game have their own "food chain" relationships. For example, "Crawling Moss," born from level 1 soil, feeds on "Biting Worms," which are born from level 2 soil. Meanwhile, "Lizard Men," born from level 3 soil, hunt "Biting Worms." The appearance and abilities of monsters will change drastically depending on the state of the ecosystem.
The game also features a "Demon King's Room" mode, where players can freely set the soil nutrients and magic points, move monsters freely, observe the ecosystem that nurtures them, and explore various possibilities.
The PSP game *Hero Is Too Arrogant OR2* is distributed by SCET. The Japanese version was released in Taiwan on October 16th, priced at NT$1300. The Traditional Chinese version is scheduled for release in Taiwan in January 2009, with the price to be announced later.
